About me

Hi, I’m Tom. I’ve spent the last decade working in technology teams, both as a software developer and a manager.

I’m particularly interested in the human side of tech leadership. Ultimately, software is both made and used by real people. The tech is the easy part.

I’m currently working as Head of Data for the UK’s leading EdTech company, where I lead a team of data scientists, data engineers and BI analysts.

I spend a lot of time thinking about what makes teams and individuals flourish. I love researching anything related to this topic, from project management methodologies to personal productivity.

Aside from that, you can often find me running, coding, writing bad jokes, or blogging.
